News: KVIE Legacy Artist Gayle Rappaport-Weiland

Gayle Rappaport-Weiland was chosen as a "Legacy Artist" and donated "Unforgettable Poppies" a watercolor mixed media piece painted specifically for the KVIE Art Auction 2005. Limited Edition Prints are available of this piece in 20" x 29" and 12" x 18". Gayle will be an on -air art expert and you can bid on the original work on KVIE Friday, September 30 - Sunday Oct 2 and a preview gala is scheduled for Wednesday, September 28, from 5:30pm - 9pm.

The focus for Art Auction 2005 will be on the greater Sacramento area artists who have contributed to making our vibrant art community Nationally recognized.The Juror was Gregory Kondos. The Legacy Collection features invited artists who, by their tremendous contributions in arts education, public art, and overall inspiration to the arts community, add to the artistic excellence in the region.
